Been doing some gardening this weekend. Since the maid went on a vacation, I hardly had time to take care of my herbs, look what happened to my Pandan leaves.

At least the Oregano and Basil are alright.

But for the peppers, it’s harvest time!

This photo was taken two weeks ago during my son’s (in the middle) family day in school. Broadway was the theme and they danced to the tune of New York, New York. I was supposed to meet some blogger friends yesterday at Tiendesitas for a double birthday blow-out but I begged off because my son got sick.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Happy WS!

The plight of the Sumilao farmers who walked from Sumilao, Bukidnon to Manila with their slippers on a sling. This is a march for justice so the government will help them get their ancestral land back. It took them 60 days to reach Manila. Yesterday morning they were flown back to Bukidnon with high hopes despite vague results.
We spotted their lantern made out of slippers the other day while driving along the Elliptical Road. We made a very quick stop and took snaps of their camp with my camera phone. If you will notice, there’s a question mark in the star. We can only hope that their’s will be a Merry Christmas. For more updates and info about their plight you can visit schumey’s blog.
