Today is Mother’s Day. I received a lot of greetings from kids, relatives and friends here and abroad. I am so grateful for the well wishers. Lucky are those whose mothers are alive. I am equally lucky, too because my mother still shines her guiding light through me and my kids. To her, i write this tribute:

A woman has strengths that amaze men.
She can handle troubles and carry heavy burdens.
She holds happiness, love and opinions.
She smiles when she feels like screaming.
She sings when she feels like crying.
Cries when she’s happy and laughs when she’s afraid.
Her hand molds children’s future.
She suffers in silence for the sake of the family.
Her love is unconditional.
