Plants vs. Zombies

My son, Joey, finally got hold of his ipod touch and he is so excited.  The late birthday gift from my sister arrived yesterday.  He and his ate were so busy uploading games and applications.  Later this afternoon they plan to drop by the mall and  look at some ipod accessories.

After they were done with the uploads, I tried this cute game, Plants vs. Zombies.  That was a big mistake!  I shouldn’t have, the game is so addicting I didn’t want to stop.  The sun was already up when I realized I’ve been playing too long.  If I do it again then I won’t be able to finish myonline tasks so promised myself I will never touch it again until I’m done with all my work.

Keeping An Eye

Thieves are not threatened by simple locks and an outdated security system.  As  our technology advances, these criminals are updated as well.  It’s one reason why hubs wants a Hidden Camera installed at the store.  Although our store is very small and can be manned by a single person, he says it’s still better to have one so we can closely monitor it.  Money is a real temptation and for several times, we have been a victim of store helpers-turned-thieves.  It’s really hard to find someone you can trust. It’s not that I don’t trust people anymore but being robbed for so many times had me burned.

We’ve also been hearing of burglaries around the neighborhood.  Even if we have already updated our security system, a hidden camera will be a big help in case we fall victims.  I’m actually starting to admire the cctv cameras installed in establishments.  It’s good to hear that crimes are solved and thieves/snatchers are arrested after doing the crimes.  A hidden camera installed inside the store will definitely put my min,d and hubs’ at rest.

We should not be too complacent when it comes to protecting your home or business.  Choose a small hidden camera that will let you keep an eye of your business even when you are away.

Clean Little Hands

An email has been going around since October 2009 cautioning everyone not to use hand dryers in restrooms because they are not sanitary.  Some people believe that these machines blow a lot of germs and bacteria around.   But I don’t think it’s the hand dryers that help foster cold germs.  If there is any truth to this rumor, we should not be blaming the machines but the poor handwashing practices of the general public.  Many people do not wash their hands after performing bathroom functions.

Yeehah!  My household help is back!  She arrived yesterday after vacationing for more than three weeks.  I’m so glad because now I have more time to blog!   If you have noticed, I have not updated my blogs as frequently as I used to and have not been bloghopping.  I didn’t even have time to post an entry for Weekend Snapshot, but I will be joining again next week, that’s for sure.  Meanwhile, I have to go and start my research about barcode scanner. unlocked cellphones

Most cellphones that are available in the market are locked.  The big cellphone companies  intentionally lock their units so subscribers will not be able to change networks.  I prefer buying  unlocked cell phones because here at home we have subscribed to two different networks.  Although it’s a bit time consuming,  it is more frugal to switch sim cards rather than having buying two phones.
